As patch 5.0.5 the frozen part of Hillsbrad foothills (Ruins of Alterac) is the BEST place to farm Tin Ore, in 30 mins of farming i got around 140 Tin Ores, 32 Silver Ores, 174 Coarse Stones and 4 random jewels. Also you can get some cloth (Wool and Silk) from the mobs on the zone (They all are humanoids).
